MY REVIEW:

This book starts out as a sweet little love story. Evie has always admired Calvin Knight from afar and when he starts showing interest in her, she is instantly smitten. He is perfect in every way. When he starts having disturbing dreams he remembers the curse that his grandfather told him about as a young child. A curse shall fall upon all the Knight men and destroy the women they love. What he always thought of as nonsense, suddenly starts to make sense. He has to protect Evie at all cost. With the help of the mysterious Fiona, Calvin and his brother Parker find out they have special skills that they must learn to use in order to put an end to the curse. The people in Evie's life have always left her; from her mother to her best friend. The only person she can depend on is Calvin and she will do anything not to loose him. How will they break the curse and defeat evil? Who will have to pay the ultimate price?

I have to admit that I don't usually read paranormal books but this book was really good. The author does such an amazing job with the characters. Evie is such a good girl without being over the top. She has had so much loss in her life and desperately tries to hold on to the people in her life. Calvin is perfect. The perfect boyfriend. The perfect son and the perfect gentleman. He respects Evie's wishes and never ask more of her than she is willing to give. The romance is hot and steamy while still being clean. Where were boys like Calvin when I was in college? I want to thank the author Kimberly Krey for gifting this book to me for a honest and fair review and for being such a nice person. I recommend this book for anyone who wants to get lost in a romance book. Fun for all ages!
