~Review and Giveaway: I Want It That Way by Ann Aguirre~

I WANT IT THAT WAY on Goodreads

Nadia Conrad has big dreams, and she's determined to make them come true—for her parents' sake as well as her own. But between maintaining her college scholarship and working at the local day care to support herself, she barely has time to think, let alone date. Then she moves into a new apartment and meets the taciturn yet irresistible guy in 1B….

Daniel Tyler has grown up too fast. Becoming a single dad at twenty turned his life upside down—and brought him heartache he can't risk again. Now, as he raises his four-year-old son while balancing a full-time construction management job and night classes, a social life is out of the question. The last thing he wants is for four noisy students to move into the apartment upstairs. But one night, Nadia's and Ty's paths cross, and soon they can't stay away from each other.

The timing is all wrong—but love happens when it happens. And you can't know what you truly need until you stand to lose it.

Nadia Conrad is finally at a good place in her life.  She is moving out of the dorms and into a spacious apartment with three of her best friends.  Her junior year of college is going great and she is on track to start her teaching career.  With a job that she loves at the local daycare, Nadia is content with her life the way it is.

The first day of moving in she meets the shy and introverted Ty.  Ty is the smoking hot single dad who has his hands full with work, school and Sam.  There is not much time left for anything extra.  Ty feels an instant connection with Nadia but does not have the time or energy to commit to a serious relationship.  But what do you do when it feels so right?

Just because you don't have time for a relationship doesn't meant you can't be friends with benefits, right?  Ty and Nadia fall into a routine that works for the both of them for the time being.  What a disaster waiting to happen!  When Nadia decides she wants it all, will she be able to convince Ty that they are perfect for each other or will their love burn out?

This is a wonderful first book in the 2B Trilogy!  This book works for me.  I love the strong alpha male, controlling the relationship role.  Ty makes all the plans and arrangements and schedules time with Nadia around his sons needs.  The chemistry between Nadia and Ty is smoking hot.  I mean, they don't really have time to do much else when they are together.  Their visits are few and far between.

With that being said, I sometimes still wanted Nadia to speak up more and voice her opinions.  Ty needed that extra nudge to realize how much Nadia loved him and Sam.  Nadia falls in love with Sam being that she is his daycare teacher but is she ready to be a full time mom as well?

What an emotional roller coaster ride that will keep you reading into the wee hours of the morning.  I am looking forward to the next two books from this exciting author.  Run out and buy this book.  It is that good!
