~Interview with the fabulous E. Van Lowe.~
I love your book Never Slow Dance With A Zombie, where do you get ideas for your books?
Thank you. I had a lot of fun writing that book. I can’t say specifically where the ideas come from. They just show up and I do my best to service them.
How do you come up with titles for your books?
I am the absolute worst at coming up with titles. Since I know this, I have to work hard at it. It took about 6 months of rotating titles to come up with Never Slow Dance With A Zombie. Boyfriend From Hell came earlier in the process. I do trial and error until I have one that seems to pop.
What book are you currently reading?
Clockwork Prince.
What book(s) have influenced your life most?
I’m going to say Raga Six by Frank Lauria. You’ve probably never heard of. I read this book back in the 70s and knew when I was done I wanted to write horror and occult.
What is the hardest part of writing your books?
Sitting down at the computer everyday. That’s hard, especially when it’s a nice day outside.
What are you currently working on?
I am taking several weeks of R&R before I get back to work on a book, so nothing right now. But my mind is constantly turning over new ideas. I can’t turn it off.
What do you enjoy doing when you are not writing?
LOTS. I love playing tennis; hanging out with my friends and family at clubs, bars and their homes; going to movies; watching TV, reading, concerts; travelling. LOTS.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza, although I also love Cajun red beans and rice.
Why should we read your books?
You like paranormal? You’ll find my books have a fresh, fun approach to the genre.

My Reviews:
Boyfriend From Hell
Falling Angels #1
Fifteen year-old Megan Barnett and her single mom, Suze, have a special relationship—they are friends, close friends, who do almost everything together.
“But come on, guys, she’s my mother… Can I really tell her that while we’re snuggled up on the sofa watching Spider Man Three, I’m secretly undressing James Franco with my eyes? Of course not…”
The special bond takes a turn for the worse when Suze decides to start dating again. She hasn’t had a man in her life since Megan’s father left ten years ago.
Enter two mysterious young men, Megan’s new classmate, sinfully attractive bad boy, Guy Matson, and the dangerously handsome art dealer, Armando. Before long Megan and Suze both wind up in steamy relationships. But neither of the handsome guys is quite what he seems. In fact, one of them is Satan, with his sights set on a new bride. Megan has precious little time to figure out how to stop him. If she doesn’t, either Megan or Suze are quite literally going to HELL.
When the book opens we are introduced to our main character/heroine in training Megan Barnett. Megan is a fifteen year old high school student who lives with her mom, Suze in a sheltered existence. Her two best friends are Erin and Matt. Her world seems perfect until Suze wants to start dating again. What is up with that? And now, Erin and Matt are dating each other! Megan is starting to feel left out, alone and just a bit jealous. Enter the handsome and too good to be true Guy. He is smart, sexy and seems to have eyes only for Megan.
After a rocky start in the dating field Suze starts dating the handsome and suave Armando. Megan is suspicious and goes to great lengths to break up their perfect union. All the while upsetting her two best friends who think she is losing it. Megan may have a point, maybe Armando is not who he says he is. Maybe the people closest to her have been keeping dark secrets. Who can you really trust and what will happen when you find out the truth?
When I first started reading this book I though, Oh great, another spoiled, whiny teenager. This book is so much more, though. Megan is delightful the more you read the book. I enjoyed the Megan and Guy romance. I was wary of Guy at first and thought that he was not a good person.
I am so excited to get the opportunity to read and review these books. I have been a fan of Mr. Lowe's since I read Never Slow Dance With A Zombie. While this book is entirely different it is such a wonderful read. A fresh new storyline. I recommend reading this series. I want to thank the author for gifting this book to me for a fair and honest review.
Earth Angel
Falling Angel #2
Just because Megan Barnett recently defeated Satan, has a fantastic new best friend, and has won the love of deliciously
handsome, Guy Matson, doesn’t mean her troubles are over. Far from it. For Megan doesn’t realize it, but in her possession is a powerful weapon, a weapon sought after by both angels and demons and everything in between. They will do ANYTHING to get it.
In E. Van Lowe’s humorous, romantic and thrilling sequel to Boyfriend From Hell, Megan winds up in a gripping life or death battle to save herself, the boy she loves, and all of mankind from unthinkable evil.

Now that Megan has defeated Armando and sent him back to hell, she can start picking up the pieces of her life. Dealing with the death of Matt and the loss of Erin's friendship is taking its toll on Megan. Her mom is also hurting over the sudden disappearance of Armando.
All the popular kids are being nice to her now and trying to include her in their events. Erin is at a new school and wants nothing at all to do with her. Megan finds friendship in Maudrina, a dog-loving outcast with a heart of gold. Don't forget about Guy. He has given up everything to be on earth with her. Things are starting to settle back now, maybe?
We have some new characters to show up in this book such as Harrison. I have not made up my mind about him. He has a good heart and is loyal but he can turn on you in an instant if it benefits him. Rocky is the gorgeous angel who was supposed to marry Guy until he fell in love with Megan. There is more to Rocky and she ends up being fiercely loyal and a huge help to Megan.
Megan must once again fight the forces of evil. This time she has Maudrina on her side. With the help of her loved ones she must one again face the dark side. I think I liked this book just a little bit better than the first one. The characters were familiar and developed. I love this storyline and can't wait to read book 3!
Heaven Sent
Falling Angels #3
Megan has precious little time to unravel the cryptic message hidden in the riddle she received at the end of Earth Angel. If she doesn’t, the life of someone most dear to her will be lost forever, and Megan may yet find herself living in HELL.

_Heaven_Sent2.pdf
Megan starts her summer with a new job and a broken heart. She is unsure what has happened to Guy and if he will be able to come back to her or not. Her mom Suze is dating a new guy and while Megan thinks he is kind of nerdy, he seems to make her mom happy. She is a little jealous that mom seems to have no time for her and is even going to be going out of town on her birthday.
Guardian Angel Harrison has to leave but before he does, he leaves Megan a present. A cute kitten named Amanda. Amanda may not be what she seems, especially when Megan finds the note that comes with her.
We get to read a lot more about Maudrina and her eccentric and lovable Aunt Jaz, who happens to know too much about the occult. Erin has dropped out of school all together and is planning on doing something shocking on Megan's birthday. Will Megan be able to stop her? Will Satan finally get what he has been after all this time, Megan?
This book is so good. I read it in two days. I had to see what was going to happen. I thought this was the last book in the series but I am excited to say that there will be ONE MORE released soon. I am awaiting anxiously to find out what happens. Poor Megan, the girl needs some happiness and I can't wait to see how the series ends.
