ReplyDeleteI do love mythology! If you like Egyptian myths, I think you'll enjoy The Egypt Game. It's an MG novel, but it's beautifully creepy and I don't think YA readers will be too disappointed. =)

ReplyDeleteThe Mythos Academy series by Jennifer Estep is such a great series! They cover mythology from all different cultures (Greek, Norse, etc.) so no one is left out!

ReplyDeleteThe Percy Jackson series is good for mythology. Or if you want to read a twist on the Hades/Persephone myth from Greek Mythology you could try Everbound by Brodi Ashton. It's not in your face mythology but there is a basis with it and references it

ReplyDeleteYes, I like the mythology genre. In my opinion you can say you`re a fan of mythology genre if you have read at least one of the classical mythology works and enjoyed it, so I would recommend such works as The Odyssey, The Iliad, etc.
