~Book Lover's Holiday Giveaway Hop~

A great big thank your to our tour hosts Kathy at I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Chapter by Chapter.

In case you didn't know, I love books.  I love the way they smell and YES, I love all the pretty covers.  I have bought many books just based  on how the cover looks.  I know, I need to quit rambling and get on with the giveaway.

I am going to give ONE person a chance to win a great book.  This is my favorite time of the year; I enjoy curling up with a blanket and a good book.

Take a gander at all the pretty covers.

  16. I read ebooks but I actually prefer physical copies of books. Oh, the smell of the pages.. *sigh*

  17. I prefer paperback. The only reason I am using ebooks is because I am outside the US, and it is hard to get books. Hardcopy books are better to me because they have the author's intended format (font, font size, etc), they are nice to sniff, and they are more cozy.

  80. I love the two of them equally, each of them have its own benefit like e-book, its cheaper than paperback and you can carry it anywhere and i don't need any bookshelves because i can use e-reader with hundreds of my book with single device. And i love paperback too, you know, its satisfied if you can touch the thing you like instead just staring at it like in ebook. With paperback, i can touch it, smell it, or smack it if that's a bad book and i don't think i could smack my ereader no matter how worse the book i read :/

    ReplyDelete
  81. I like physical copies. I sometimes get confused and its much easier in a physical copy to flip back a bit. Or if its a book with a map I can flick to the map easily :)

    ReplyDelete
  82. I finally got a Kindle, but still like a paper copy of a book. It is a much more personal experience to read a book. I am trying to read ebooks more often, but pdf downloads on my computer aren't very portable. I know there is a was to transfer them, but I haven't worked that out yet.

    ReplyDelete
  83. I love both, but prefer paper books

    ReplyDelete
  84. I prefer print books, because I love the covers and they're easier to read, but I do read e-books too.

    ReplyDelete
  85. I prefer print books! Because I can hold them and keep them and smell them. I don't have an e-reader anyway.

    Thanks!

  87. It depends on the book. Some I want physical copies to keep handy, others I prefer to store digitally because I am running out of space! I have a few collections from several decades, and I want to complete my collections from those authors with all print copies because I am OCD like that :)

    ReplyDelete
  88. I prefer copies of books because i do not own a kindle or a nook. Thanks
